Tasmin is an Assistant Professor in Education Policy at the College of Education at Michigan State University. She holds a PhD in Urban Education Policy and a MA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an EdM in Education Policy & Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in Political Economy from the University of California at Berkeley. Tasmin first began her career teaching elementary school in Houston, Texas.

Tasmin enjoys running and being outdoors as much as possible. Although she has always lived close to the ocean, she's enjoying exploring Michigan's many lakes.
